Popcorn

So, who likes popcorn? If you have kids then you probably answered yes. My kids love popcorn, but I was getting sick of buying bags of it. So much money on 6 bags. It was eating my budget for snacks. Phillip to the rescue. His great idea...buy a popcorn maker. Duh, why didn't I think of that? So we did. He spent a good 20 minutes in the appliance aisle looking at different ones, and finally decided on the Orville Redenbacher's Stirring Popper. You would think our popcorn woes would have ended there right? Wrong. Then he had to go to the popcorn section, get popcorn kernels, and because we had a couple of the kids with us, they had to get a variety of seasonings to go on the popcorn as well. So far, we are loving it. It's saved us money already, instead of having to pop 2-3 bags of popcorn to have enough for all the kids, we just make one batch. Oh, did I mention the lid doubles as a bowl as well? Clean up is simple. It comes with a little black plastic lid that you pop on the top as soon as it's done popping, flip the container (don't worry, it's not hot) and eat. No steam from bags to worry about. If you are type that likes buttered popcorn, that little round part on top is also a butter melter. Fancy.
